The
Battle of the Boot is an honored tradition between the Fort Worth and Dallas chapters played every fall, where the best 24 participants from each play against each other in a Ryder Cup style event.
Because that's been such a popular, awesome event that our participants look forward to every year, the two chapters thought we might as well hold another event to bring together our best and brightest.
Battle of the Boot Preview Tournament Information
Date of Event: TBD
Location: TBD but will be in Fort Worth
Play Format: All participants will play stroke play format. This is more of a typical junior tournament, just First Tee style!

Participants are allowed to ask to age up, and will be considered on a case-by-case basis and approved through committee.
Size of field: 20 participants per age division, 10 per chapter
Time frame: First tee times for 18 hole players likely to be around 1pm, planning on 9 hole times to start around 2:30pm
Cost of Play: $40 for 9 holes, $75 for 18 holes
Value of Cost: each participant will receive a brand new pullover with their chapter's logo, a sleeve of high quality golf balls with event logo, PGA Tour Superstore gift card, and more tee gifts to come on top of covering tournament fees and trophies.
